I haven’t contributed anything myself, but I love the idea of making your own ALA-esque READ posters. I think it could be awesome community outreach… cheap too. Take photos at your next program, community event OR local school (be sure to Flickr them) and make them into READ posters… put them on bookmarks… hang them up in the post office. Make people feel they are part of the library, nay, actually MAKE them part of the library and you just might inspire some more devoted young patrons.
