I’m looking forward to welcoming to Craft Magazine on next week, October 17 to be exact, when it hits newstands and mailboxes everywhere.

The little brother to the wonderful Make is the latest venture from O’Reilly; purveyor of products relevant to so many.

If the zine is anything to judge by, a subscription seems worthwhile. I’m thinking of the Sim Card Earrings (from my old favorite, WikiHow) for all the like-minded, techno-librarians in my life. And perhaps some pixel samplers for those we’re still trying to nudge along. And for the guys? How about a Bicycling T-shirt with N is for Nerd on the front or edible origami for the less athletic. Fun stuff to do, anyway, on those upcoming winter nights.
