Aggregators?
Since I set this blog up to chronicle all online library explorations, it seems an appropriate place to note the afternoon's baffling activity: choosing an RSS aggregator to test. At first I couldn't figure out which to try, did a seach and settled on bloglines. As I was poised to register, it occured to me that Firefox has a built in reader… So what's the benefit to using a third party reader like bloglines? Anybody? Anybody? How is it superior to Firefox's? Different? The one good thing I can see, if it's a feature, is erasing as entry after you've read it, which Firefox doesn't seem to do. I'd love some input if anyone who knows better is reading this. And, fwiw, I am currently trying to trick out my Firefox favorites to fulfill all my feed fantasies. Nothing like a little alliteration in the afternoon, being a newbie is exhausting.
