Fondest of Farewells
I had my greatest professional windfall in May of 2004 when I was hired into the Systems Department at the University of New Hampshire Library under the direction of David Berona. Over the past fourteen months, he has navigated to muddy waters of such a high-profile department with astounding wit, compassion, intelligence, and vision. I have learned more from him than I ever did in school. We were heartbroken on Monday to learn that David would be leaving us to assume the duty of Library Director at Plymouth State University. While I am sad for myself and for the UNH Library at this loss, I'm thrilled for David and for Plymouth. You're a lucky bunch of kiddos… treat him right!
